Richard Heinberg

Richard Heinberg ( born October 21, 1950) is an American journalist, author, musician, teacher and illustrator and lecturer at New College of California. He has published over energy, economic and environmental issues.

Life

Heinberg was, after two years of college and a personal study, personal assistant Immanuel Velikovsky in November 1979, after Velikovsky's death, his wife assistant.

His first book, Memories and Visions of Paradise: Exploring the Universal Myth of a Lost Golden Age, published 1989 2003 he published his book The party 's over across the global oil production peak. .

He currently serves as a scientist at the Post Carbon Institute and the author of the Muse Letter.

Heinberg lives in Santa Rosa, California and is married to Janet Barocco.
