Richard III (1995 film)

Richard III. is an American film adaptation by director Richard Loncraine. The film opened on 29 December 1995 in the United States and launched on 14 March 1996 in the German cinemas.

Action

The film follows the plot of William Shakespeare's Richard III. against the backdrop of a fascist England in the 30s.

The ugly and malformed Richard, Duke of Gloucester, is working its way to the forefront of power. To achieve this goal, intrigue and murder him, but can not enjoy his success for long.
