Richard Kind

Richard John Child ( born November 22, 1956 in Trenton, New Jersey ) is an American actor and voice actor.

Life

Richard J. child was born as the son of the jeweler Samuel child and his wife Alice in Trenton. Together with his younger sister, Joanne, he grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Until 1974 he attended Pennsbury High School and then studied until 1978 at Northwestern University law ( pre-law ).

After his graduation, he supposed there to continue his studies at a law school, but on the advice of his father, a friend's child for a year decided to try his hand at acting. So he moved to New York and beat there by a waiter and a window dresser. Finally he went to Chicago, where he became a member of the theater group The Second City and participated in comedic productions such as How Green Were My Values, John, Paul, Sartre and Ringo and True Midwest. After a four-year commitment, he moved to Los Angeles and played in the Second City group based there. He then starred in many television productions.

Richard J. Child was primarily known for his roles in Mad About You ( Dr. Mark Devanow ) and Spin City (Paul Thomas Lassiter ). He also appeared in a new production by Bill Lawrence, Scrubs - The Beginners to see in a supporting role as a hypochondriac Harvey Corman. Among other things, he is also with brief guest appearances in the series The Nanny, marriage ... and Stargate Atlantis represented. In addition, a child appeared in several Broadway productions, including Sly Fox, The Producers and The Tale of the Allergist 's Wife.

As a voice actor he lent among other things, the character Frugal Lucre in Kim Possible Disney Characters and Molt in A Bug's Life, Cars in Van, Bookworm in Toy Story 3 and Larry in The Wild his voice.

Since 13 November 1999, he is married to Dana Stanley, the two have three children together.
