Richard LaSalle

Richard LaSalle ( born January 18, 1918 in Louisville, Colorado) is an American film composer.

After studying at the University of Colorado LaSalle began his musical career in the 1940s, first as a hotel pianist, including five years at the New York Plaza Hotel, and later as head of a big band. 1958 began his career as a film composer, in particularly his long-term collaboration with producer Irwin Allen was significant. For him, he set episodes of the television series Lost between alien worlds and Land of the Giants as well as a number of television films like City Beneath the Sea (1971). In addition, LaSalle composed for feature films starring Vincent Price (Diary of a murderer and the poison of evil ) and set to music a number of Western with Audie Murphy, including Arizona Raiders.
