Richard Lauffen

Richard Lauffen ( born June 2, 1907 in Moenchengladbach, † August 28 1990 in Marquartstein ) was a German actor.

After high school he received in Munich acting lessons with Otto Wernicke, Therese Giehse and Tony Stury - Wittels. 1927 Lauffen was at the Munich Kammerspielen his debut as Max in Kötznickel Mells successor of Christ game under Otto Berg Falck Director. Until 1945, Plauen, Oldenburg and Mannheim joined as stage stations.

From 1945 to 1948 he was part of the ensemble of the Hamburg Theatre " The Elite ". It was followed by appearances at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm, to the Hamburg Chamber of playing in the Luisenburg Festival, the Deutsches Schauspielhaus, the Schauspielhaus Zurich, Theater Basel, at the stages of the city of Cologne, the Staatstheater Hannover and at various festivals.

Lauffen was seen since the war in several films, such as in Fritz Lang's two-part The Tiger of Eschnapur and The Indian Tomb. In Loriots Ödipussi he asked the father of the psychotherapist Margaret Tietze ( Evelyn Hamann ) dar. He also acted in television series ( Timm Thaler ) as well as on numerous radio plays ( " The Night of the Death - rat " role Professor Hasquet, " The Three? " Mr. Shelby role in " The eerie dragon ").

Lauffen was married to the actress Elisabeth Wiedemann. His tomb is located at the cemetery in Hittenkirchen.
