Richard Lounsbery Foundation
The Richard Lounsbery Foundation is a charitable foundation for the purpose of further development of national superiority of the United States in the field of technology and science. It was founded in 1959 by Richard and Vera Lounsbery. The operations commenced in 1980. During the eighties the foundation's assets was estimated at 22 million dollars. The foundation devoted himself primarily biomedical research. Since July 2002, the organization is led by the President David M. Abshire.
