Richard Orsini

Riccardo I. Orsini (also: Ricardo Orsini; German: Richard Orsini ) (* 1230, † 1304 murdered before 7 April in Clarentza ) was from 1264 until his violent death of Count Palatine of Cephalonia and 1284-1291 Count of Gravina.

Life

Riccardo Orsini was born in 1230 as the son of the Count Palatine Maio II Orsini and Anna ( Theodora ) Komnena Dukaina of Epirus. In 1264 he was sent to his father's death new Count Palatine of Cephalonia and Zakynthos.
