Richard Rogler
Richard Rogler ( born September 19, 1949 in Selb ) is a German comedian.
Career
Rogler grew up in Selb and studied after high school and military service, first studying French and sports to become a teacher at the University of Würzburg. From 1974 to 1978 he was a member of the children 's and youth theater group Ömmes & Oimel, first in Würzburg since 1977 in Cologne. It was followed by appearances with Henry Pachl the cabaret duo " The Real Anton". Mid-1980s, Rogler also received an engagement at the Cologne Schauspielhaus. Since 1986 he has worked as a soloist.
Rogler received in 1982 (along with Heinrich Pachl ), 1987 and 1992, the German Cabaret Award, in 2000 the German Cabaret Award and for his performances and presentations on television in 1987 Telestar and 1989 the Adolf Grimme Prize. In 1997 he was awarded the More Hovener motion. Since 2000, Rogler holds an honorary professor lectures at the University of Arts in Berlin and became the first professor for cabaret in Germany.
Richard Rogler Regular guest appearances on the German TV show wiper ( "Das Erste" ) and numerous other radio and television appearances ( lookup, Rogler Rabid cabaret ) was nationally known. In the WDR television, he hosted from 1988 to 1992, the cabaret show Mitternachtsspitzen. From 2004 until November 2007 he was six times per year to host the SR- social evening. In Linden Street, he served as 1987 and 1998 can be seen as fraudulent brokers Panowski.
On 29 June 2006 Rogler took the place of the cabaret artist Georg Schramm as a member of the ensemble of the wiper after Schramm had left the wipers on his own request. On 11 February 2008, the rbb announced that Rogler leaves the wipers because he wants to concentrate on his stage performances. In December 2008, he made an appearance on 17 Arosa Comedy Festival. Rogler is a regular guest in the show hosted by Ludger Stratmann and broadcast on WDR program " Stratmanns - Jupp pub theater in the pot ".
