Richard Roth (Journalist)

Richard Roth ( born 1955 ) is a journalist from the United States, the works since the founding of the news channel 1980 Cable News Network (CNN ).

Career

Roth studied journalism at New York University. After the bachelor's degree, he worked as a presenter and reporter for AP Radio and the New York television station WPIX, channel 11, 1980, he became editor of the New York office of the news channel CNN, for whom he later among other things, the second Gulf War, the fall of the iron Curtain and the Tiananmen Square Massacre reported.

As a correspondent at the United Nations in New York, he hosted from 1994, the weekly program broadcast on CNN International Diplomatic License, which reported mainly in interviews with diplomats and journalists discuss the diplomatic negotiations and decisions of the UN. The program was terminated in 2006; he continues to work as a senior U.N. correspondent in New York.
