Richard Toll

Richard Toll is a city in Senegal. It lies on the banks of the Senegal about 120 kilometers east of Saint- Louis.

The city had about 30,000 inhabitants in 1988, 2003 is already close to 50,000, now ( end of 2011 ), the population reached just over 70,000.

Main occupation of the population is agriculture ( sugarcane ) and its processing at the local sugar factory. About 8200 hectares of sugar are owned by the Compagnie Sucriere Senegalaise (CSS ), which employs about 7,000 workers
