Richard Trautmann

Richard Trautmann ( born February 7, 1969 in Munich) is a German judoka and Olympiamedaillist.

Arrive early at youth and junior championships Richard Trautmann many successes, he won next German championship titles in singles and the team of TSV Munich Grosshadern the European Junior Championships in the weight category up to 60 kilograms.

The outstanding success of his active career are the two bronze medals at the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 and Atlanta in 1996. At the World Championships he was third ( 1993) and fifth place (1995 ) win. Moreover, it was he fought in the weight class up to 65 kg at the International German Championship 1996 title.

Today Trautmann junior national coach of the German Judo Federation and still coach in his hometown club TSV Grosshadern. In December 2010, his 6th Dan Degree ( red and white belt ) was awarded.
