Richard Tyler (sound engineer)

Richard " Dick" E. Tyler, Jr. was an American sound engineer and sound engineer, who was nominated four times for an Academy Award for Best Sound.

Life

Tyler began as early as 1932 his work as a sound engineer in the film The Secrets of Wu Sin and worked throughout his nearly sixty year career in the film industry in Hollywood in the production of over 80 films.

Last Tyler was nominated for the Academy Awards 1982 for an Oscar for best sound either together with Michael J. Kohut, Jay M. Harding and Al Overton Jr. for Pennies from Heaven, but did not win the trophy this time.
