Richmond Railway Bridge

The Richmond Railway Bridge is a railway bridge over the River Thames in London. It lies on the suburban line from Waterloo via Clapham Junction to Reading, between the stations of Richmond in the northeast and in the southwest of St. Margaret's, both located in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Was officially opened consisting of cast iron and designed by Joseph Locke Bridge on August 22, 1848 by the London and South Western Railway. After 1891 a similar design was collapsed in Norbury, there has been growing fears that the same could happen in Richmond. Finally emerged from 1906 a new steel bridge, which was opened in 1908. Today, trains of the railway company South West Trains.
