Richtersveld is a municipality in the district of Namakwa, Northern Cape Province in South Africa. In 2001, the population was 10,115 in a total area of 9608 km ². The administrative center is Port Nolloth.
The municipality is named after the Dutch missionary Reverend W. Richter, who had opened a mission station in Koeboes.
