Rick Overton

Richard Overton ( born August 10, 1954 in Queens, New York City, USA) is an American actor and screenwriter.

Life

Overton grew up in Englewood (New Jersey). He had in 1982 in Kiss Me, Doc His first film role. As a result, he had small roles in other movies, including Beverly Hills Cop, and Willow and Mrs. Doubtfire. In produced by Roland Emmerich Science Fiction comedy High Crusade, he played the lead role. He also appeared as a guest star in TV series such as Remington Steele, Married with Children and Emergency Room - The emergency room immediately.

Since 2004, he is one of the screenwriters of Dennis Miller Live on HBO. For his work he was awarded in 1996 with an Emmy Award the following year he was nominated for another Emmy as well as for the WGA Award.
