Change during drying or by moistening their color ( hygrophanous ), grooved translucent and have a fluffy surface. The away lamella run either on a stick down or there are grown widely emarginate or with a decurrent tooth. The spore powder is white in color. Even the stems are designed fluffy. The fruiting body smell and taste specific.

Microscopic characteristics

At the spores stands ( basidia ) mature 4 elliptical to cylindrical spores. They are smooth-walled, transparent ( hyaline ) and show on contact with iodine solutions no color reaction. Sterile elements ( cystidia ) are present on the lamellae surfaces and cutting, the stem bark and the hat skin. The hymenophore consists of inflated elements also have no Iodfarbreaktion. The Hutdeckschicht ( Pileipellis ) is a cutis of underlying fungal threads ( hyphae ). The hyphal septa wear buckles.
