Rickey Green

Rickey Green ( born August 18, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, United States ) is a retired American professional basketball player who played on the position of the point guards in the NBA for 15 years.

Career

Green played 1977-1992 for eight different NBA teams. His most successful period was present at the Utah Jazz, where he was under contract eight years. There he played alongside Adrian Dantley, Karl Malone and John Stockton, the Green 1987 -starting point guard for the Jazz inherited. 1984 Green was invited to the NBA All- Star Game. He had his best individual season 1982/83 when he scored 14.3 points, 8.9 assists and 2.7 steals per game.
