Rico Schmider

Rico Schmider (born 24 June 1991 in Offenburg ) is a German football player.

Career

Rico Schmider is the son of former Bundesliga professionals Bernd Schmider. This was in 1987 ended his playing career at Offenburger FV and settled there. Rico Schmider grew up in Offenburg district Zunsweier and played as a child in the OFV. At 15, he moved to the youth development of SC Freiburg. There he played with the B- and A- Youth in the respective Juniors Bundesliga. In 2009, he was a reserve player, as the Freiburg U-19 South German Champion and German Junior Cup winner was. He joined in early 2010 for half a year in the A- youth of the Karlsruher SC.

After the completion of the youth of the defensive midfielder was looking for a new challenge and joined in mid- 2010 Preußen Münster.
