Right colic artery

The middle colic artery artery ("right colonic artery " ) arises either directly from the lower intestine artery ( superior mesenteric artery or cranial ) or in the form of a common trunk with the ileocolic artery. It runs off the ovarian artery or artery testicular to the ascending part of the colon ( ascending colon ). There it divides into a descending branch ( descending branch ), which anastomoses with the ileocolic artery, and an ascending branch ( ramus ), receives the connection to the middle colic artery media.

The middle colic artery artery supplies the ascending part of the colon.
