Rigid bus

As a solo bus, car or solo standard bus all buses or trolleybuses are referred to public transport that are not articulated buses respectively articulated trolleybuses and also driving without a bus trailer. Solo buses are available in low-floor as well as in high-floor construction. The sometimes customary designation of Solo buses as standard bus is misleading, as this term is usually developed by the Association of Public Transport services standardized bus types are referred to.

Solo buses are mainly used on lines with low to average ridership, such as a local bus or a city bus as normal on busy routes.
