Rigobert Song ( born July 1, 1976 in Nkanglicock in Cameroon ) is a former Cameroonian football player and most capped player in his country. Since end of his career he has worked as an expert on the TV show Orange sport.

Career

The center-back started in the early 1990s, his career in Tonerre Yaoundé and took the age of 17 participated in the Football World Cup 1994 in the USA. He moved to this World Cup in the first French League for FC Metz. Here he remained until the soccer World Cup 1998 in France. After this World Cup, he subsequently moved to Italy to Salernitana Calcio, however, where he remained only until the winter break, only to change in January 1999 to FC Liverpool. It now began wandering years of Rigobert Song. From November 2000 to October 2001, he played for West Ham United, and then switch to the 1 FC Cologne in the Bundesliga.
