It was a middle-class vehicle that Riley brought out in 1935 as a successor to the Riley 14-6.

The six-cylinder engine with OHV valve timing of the previous model has been reduced to 1458 cc displacement. The sedan had the chassis of its predecessor, reaching a top speed of 112 km / h

After a short time (the same year ) the model without successor has been discontinued.
