Rill Baxter

Rill Baxter ( born October 26, 1962 in Sarasota, Florida ) is a former American professional tennis player.

Life

Baxter played during his studies of economics for Pepperdine University and was elected in 1982 in the Best All-American selection. After graduating in 1985 he was a professional tennis player. First, he played on the ATP Challenger Tour, where he could still win his first doubles title in the same year on the side of Glenn Michibata. The following year, he won two more doubles titles on the Challenger Tour. Throughout his career, he was able to win five doubles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour. His greatest success on the ATP World Tour were runners-up in ATP Metz on the side of Nduka Odizor and in Wellington on the side of Glenn Michibata. Its highest listing in the tennis world ranking he reached in 1987 with position 316 in the individual as well as position 69 in doubles.

In the individual he was never able to qualify for a Grand Slam tournament. In the doubles competition, he reached each of the second round of the Australian Open, the French Open and the U.S. Open. In 1987, he was also in the second round of the mixed competition of the French Open.
