The Rimrock Auto Arena ( full name: Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark ) is a multi-purpose hall in the city of Billings, Yellowstone County in the U.S. state of Montana.

History

With the name Yellowstone METRA the arena was opened in 1975. METRA is an acronym for Montana 's Entertainment, Trade and Recreation Arena. Later, the exhibition center was renamed around the hall in MetraPark. The event hall is used by local sports teams as well as for concerts, family and ice shows, motor sports events, musicals, rodeos, fairs and other events.

Found in the arena, for example, Pre-season games instead of the NBA. So the very first game of the new team the Oklahoma City Thunder against the Minnesota Timberwolves took place on 8 October 2008. On 21 February 2007 the car dealership announced Rimrock Auto Group obtained the multi-purpose arena from 1 July 2007 the name Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark. The contract for the naming rights for running over 10 years for 1 million U.S. dollars.
