Rinegg is a municipality with 158 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the judicial district or district Murau in Styria. From 1 January 2015 it has joined forces framework of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the community Ranten, the new community will bear the name " Ranten ".

Geography

Rinegg located in the district Murau in the Austrian province of Styria.

There are no other cadastral except Rinegg.

History

The abolition of the manorial system was carried out in 1848., The local church as an autonomous body was established in 1850. After the annexation of Austria in 1938 the congregation to Reichsgau Styria came from 1945 to 1955 it was part of the British zone of occupation in Austria.

Coat of arms

The award of the municipality coat of arms came into effect on 1 July 1989. Coat Description: Between black pine branches edges in gold growing red leafed tiger lily with three flowers.
