The Ringsted Kommune is a municipality of Denmark, in the region of Sjælland. It covers 294.60 km ² and has 33 217 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The seat of government is in Ringsted.
Ringsted municipality was formed in the course of administrative reform of 1970 and remained in full on the recent administrative reform of 2007. The municipality changed from Vestsjællands office in the new Zealand.
