Riofreddo

Riofreddo is a municipality in the province of Rome in the Italian region Latium, located about 768 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 64 km northeast of Rome.

Geography

Riofreddo is located on the eastern slopes of the Lucretili. It is a member of the Comunità Montana Valle Aniene.

The nearby towns are: Arsoli, Cineto Romano, Oricola (AQ ), and Roviano Vallinfreda.

Traffic

Riofreddo is just off the A24 motorway, Strada dei Parchi. However, the next exit Carsoli - Oricola is about 7 km away.

The Riofreddo station is currently shut down, so is the nearest railway station on the route Rome - Avezzano Arsoli 3 km away.
