Riot Act (see also Riot Act ) is the seventh studio album by the American rock band Pearl Jam. The album was released in November 2002, the label Epic Records / Sony Music. It was the last studio release of the band with new material on that label.
History
After the tour, the album Binaural the band took a break of about a year. Riot Act finally emerged in two recording sessions in February and April 2002 at Studio X in Seattle, Washington. Producer was Adam Kasper, who had worked as a sound engineer for Pearl Jam. The album by Brendan O'Brien in the Space Studio was mixed also reached in Seattle in May 2002. The album number 5 on the Billboard 200 and number 13 in the German charts.
