Rip Taylor

Rip Taylor ( born January 13, 1934 in Washington DC as Charles Elmer Taylor ) is an American actor and entertainer.

Work

Taylor was known in 1969 for his appearances on the TV show of Ed Sullivan. Later, The Gong Show (1976 ) and The followed $ 1.98 Beauty Show (1978). As an entertainer Taylor often performed in Las Vegas; next to, inter alia, Sammy Davis, Jr., Debbie Reynolds and Frank Sinatra. In the 1970s he was there three times awarded with the title of Entertainer of the Year.

Taylor played in the movie Indecent Proposal (1993 ) opposite Robert Redford and Demi Moore, in the film Alex & Emma (2003) alongside Kate Hudson and Sophie Marceau. He had a brief appearance in Jackass: The Movie (2003 ) Jackass: Number Two (2006) and " Jackass 3D" (2010).

Taylor was also a speaker in numerous animated series such as Duck Tales and The Addams Family, and animated cartoons such as DuckTales: The Movie - Treasure of the Lost Lamp (1990 ) and Tom and Jerry: The Movie (1992). For his role in synchronizing the animated series The Addams Family, he was nominated for the 1994 Emmy Award Award.

He appeared in several musicals on Broadway, including Anything Goes, Oliver!, Peter Pan, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (1999).
