Riposte

As Riposte is called out an immediate counter-attack from the successful parry. The technique combines the Riposte receiving the incoming attack directly to the counter, the attack exploits a gap caused the keeper.

Use

The term comes from the French language where it describes a repartee. The term within the meaning of melee maneuver is mainly used in fencing and martial arts, in the latter case mostly when defense and counter-attack with the same extremity (arm, leg ) is executed.
