RIS (file format)

RIS (Research Information System Format) is a standardized file format for bibliographic management and export of bibliographic data. The format is designed so that according to certain pre-defined field name ( tag) of two letters followed by the corresponding information.

Below are the central RIS tags. The day TY must at the beginning and the day HE must necessarily appear at the end of the record. The order of the remaining tags is arbitrary.
