Risa Shigetomo

Risa Shigetomo; (Japanese重 友 梨 佐, Shigetomo Risa, born August 29, 1987 in Bizen ) is a Japanese marathon runner.

In the 10 km of San'yo 2006 became Fifth, in 2008 and 2010 Second Fifth.

In 2011 she was planning the Nagoya marathon debut at the 42,195 -km distance; after it has been canceled due to the Tōhoku earthquake, she competed in the London Marathon, was there but only on the 24th Place. in the fall she was fifth at the Virginia Beach Half Marathon.

In 2012 she won the Osaka Women's Marathon, and was subsequently nominated for the Olympic Games in London.
