Rites of Zhou

The Rites of Zhou (Chinese周礼, Pinyin zhōulǐ ), originally under the title The officials of the Zhou (周 官, zhōuguān ) known also sometimes called The officials and Rites of Zhou (周官礼, zhōuguānlǐ ) and belong to the so-called Nine classics (九 经, jiǔjīng ). This probably only at the time of the usurper Wang Mang (r. 9-23 ) authored book describes very carefully and in detail the Confucian rites of the Zhou Kingdom, where the focus is on rites of governance.
