Rittersheim

Ritter Home is a municipality in the Thunder Mountain district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Kirchheimbolanden.

Geography

The town is located east of Kirchheimbolanden in the valley of Leiselsbachs. To Rittersheim includes the residential places Josef mill ( Zeppenmühle ) and control forest mill.

History

The place was first mentioned around 900.

Parish council

The local council in Rittersheim consists of six council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Coat of arms

The blazon of the arms is: " In the sacred blue growing Maximin in a golden robe, with a golden miter, in the left a growing golden crosier, the rights applicable to the oath that accompanied the top of the gothic silver Minuskelbuchstaben s and m ".

It was established in 1971 approved by the district government Neustadt and goes back to a seal from 1616. Maximin, for the letters s and m sanctus Maximinus standing, refers to the Trier imperial abbey of St. Maximin, had large estates in Rittersheim.

Economy and infrastructure

In the resort, the L 386 and L 447 West Cross is a direct connection to the A 63 ( Kaiserslautern Mainz). In Kirchheimbolanden is a railway station of thunder mountain railway.
