Rittner Horn

Seen Rittner Horn of Colle in Bolzano

The Rittner Horn ( also Rittner Horn, Italian Corno del Renon ) is a 2,260 m high mountain in the Bozen quartz porphyry slab in the Sarntaler Alps, dominates the south to Ritten plateau. The summit, where there is the Rittner Horn house of the CAI, is in the municipality of Barbian in South Tyrol. Because in the near vicinity no higher mountain obstructs the view, the remote view from Grossglockner ( Austria ) extends over the Dolomites to the mountains of the Ortler Alps.

The Rittner Horn Ski Area is a member of the Ortler Ski Arena. The corresponding lifts consist of a box orbit and two surface lifts.
