The Ayr (Gaelic: Uisge AIR) is a 65 km long river in Scotland. The source of the river, the lake is Glenbuck Loch in East Ayrshire. Its course always leads west through the pastures and small villages. The last four kilometers, it flows through the eponymous town of Ayr and ends at the harbor in the Firth of Clyde.
Its main tributaries are Greenock Water, Lugar Water, Water of Fail and Water of Coyle.
