River Cisse

The Cisse in Limeray

The Cisse is a river in France, which runs in the Centre region. It rises in the municipality of Rhodo, drained initially in a southerly direction and reaches in Chouzy -sur -Cisse the Loire Valley. There flows a tributary of the Cisse in the Loire, the main river but swivels to the west, running parallel to the Loire and ends after a total of 88 kilometers in the municipality of Vouvray, just east of Tours, a right tributary of the Loire. The Cisse crosses on their way the departments of Loir -et -Cher and Indre -et -Loire.
