The River Dee is a river in Cumbria, England. The River Dee is formed by the confluence of the small Hazel Bottom Gill and different small streams on the northern slopes of Blea Moor.

The River Dee flows first in a northerly direction. The river follows the course of the railway line Settle - Carlisle until it is south of the station Dent station turns to the west and south of the Aye Gill Pike flows through the valley Dentdale.

To the west of Sedbergh opens the River Dee in the River Rowthay.
