Rivignano
Rivignano ( Friulian Rivignan ) is a municipality with 4421 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Udine. Rivignano is located in the south-west of the capital of Friuli- Venezia Giulia, Udine region and between communities Codroipo and the seaside resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro. The place is away from the main river of the region, the Tagliamento, about 5 km away and the small river Stella about 2 km.
Structures
The small church of Saint Mary of the Rosary, right at the cemetery falls, because of the bell tower with zweibogigem window in the middle of the facade, is a portal, which is decorated with a bas-relief of the figure of the Madonna and Child by Giovanni Antonio Pilacorte is attributed. In the interior of the church altar with Madonna of the Rosary and Saints ( 1552), the work of Bernardino Blaceo, executed after the model of the triptych of Pordenone ( 1526), kept in the neighboring varmo.
A portal, as created by the hand Pilacorte, is located in the Church of St. James the Apostle, in the village of Ariis, where the Villa Ottelio from the 16th century, stands overlooking the river Stella.
In Flambruzzo is originally from the 17th century Villa Codroipo, a three-storey building, which is entered through a reinforced tower bridge.
