RM-ODP
RM- ODP stands for Reference Model of Open Distributed Processing. This is described since 1996 in the ISO standard ISO / IEC 10746, which has a meta-model for the description of information systems to the object. RM- ODP defines the concepts that need to be described by ODP Specification Languages .
Survey
RM- ODP is tailored to object-based systems, but can also be used for other types of systems. It was necessary, as the Zachman Framework can not be readily used for object-based architectures.
There are five views of the generic system.
Applications
Since RM- ODP is kept very generic, it can be instantiated to the 4 1 view model and the Object Management Architecture.
