Rob Collins

Robert " Rob" Collins (born 15 March 1978 in Peterborough, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays for the Cologne Sharks of the German Ice Hockey League since 2014.

Career

Collins was never drafted and still taken in 2003 by the New York Islanders under contract. Previously, the winger played four years in the American Hockey League for the Grand Rapids Griffins. In his only NHL season, 2005/ 06, the Canadian was eight times used for the New York Islanders and this was a goal and an assist recorded. The rest of the season he played, as in former years, the farm team for the Islanders, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
