Robbie Bina

Robbie Bina ( born January 4, 1983 in Grand Forks, North Dakota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since 2010 in the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg in the German Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Robbie Bina began his career as a hockey player in the youth team Bismarck Bobcats, for which he was active in the 2001/02 season in the America West Hockey League. He then played one year for the Lincoln Stars in the United States Hockey League and won with his team the championship title, the Clark Cup. From 2003 to 2008 he studied at the University of North Dakota, for the ice hockey team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, he was used in parallel, where it failed due to an injury during the season 2005/ 06.

In the 2008 /09 season Bina made ​​his debut in professional hockey for the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League, where he for their cooperation partners Stockton Thunder played in parallel in the ECHL. The following season the defender spent mostly at the Las Vegas Wranglers in the ECHL and ran just twice for the San Antonio Rampage on in the AHL. In Las Vegas, he was able to convince at first, scoring five goals in 27 games and 17 assists for his new team, after which he was nominated for the ECHL All-Star Game on the part of the National Conference. In January 2010, however, he opted for a move to Europe to the Stavanger Oilers team and was replaced by Sasha Pokulok in the All-Star. With the Stavanger Oilers of the right shooter at the end of the season was Norwegian champion. For this success, he was wearing some especially in the playoffs, when he 20 points scorer, with four goals scored in 18 games. He was then elected to the All-Star team the GET ligaen.
