Robert Armstrong (actor)

Robert William Armstrong ( born November 20, 1890 in Saginaw, Michigan, USA; † 20 April 1973 in Santa Monica, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Armstrong gained fame in 1933 as the lead in the classic film King Kong and the white woman as a director Carl Denham. In memory remained especially his last spoken words in the film: " These were not the aircraft - it was beauty that killed the beast. "
