Robert Bloch (racing driver)
Robert Bloch was a French racing driver.
Robert Bloch belonged to that group of racers who were the first 24 - hour race at Le Mans at the start of 1923. Bloch was together with " Stalter " on a Lorraine -Dietrich 19th in the overall standings. As a factory driver from Lorraine -Dietrich he contested the race in 1926 as a partner of André Rossignol on a Lorraine -Dietrich B3- sixth The race ended with the total victory of the duo Bloch / Rossignol - it was the biggest success of the French in motorsport.
His last appearance at Le Mans had Bloch 1928, when he was on a Stutz second overall with Edouard Brisson.
