Robert Cluck

Robert N. Cluck ( born March 20, 1939 in Cisco, Texas) is an American local politicians. Since May 2003 he has been mayor of the city of Arlington, Texas.

Career

Cluck grew up in Cisco. He received his pre-clinical training at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and subsequently studied at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. During the Vietnam War, he served two years in the U.S. Air Force first Medical Officer of Clark Air Base in the Philippines. From 1971 to 1994 Cluck was established as a gynecologist in Arlington. Since 2002 he has been Vice President for the medical field at Arlington Memorial Hospital.

His political career began as a representative of Council District 4 City Council of Arlington, where he served two terms long. In May 2003 he was elected mayor of Arlington.
