Robert Curl

Robert Floyd Curl, Jr. ( born August 23, 1933, Alice, Texas) is an American chemist.

Curl is an emeritus professor of chemistry at Rice University.

Together with Richard E. Smalley and Harold Kroto, he was awarded for the discovery of fullerenes in 1996 with the Nobel Prize for Chemistry.
