Robert Dauber

Robert Dauber (* August 27, 1922 Vienna, † March 24, 1945 in Dachau ) was a German cellist and composer.

The father of Robert Dauber was the composer, arranger and conductor Adolf " Dol " Dauber (1894-1950), who was known as the head of Dol Dauber Salon Orchestra in Vienna in the twenties. Robert Dauber played piano and cello. In Theresienstadt concentration camp, he participated in performances of the opera Brundibar. In March 1945, Dauber died in Dachau typhus. The only known work is in the Music Collection of the Austrian National Library in the estate of the father ( Signature: MUS: F79 Dauber ).
