Robert Davi
Robert Davi ( born June 26, 1953 in New York ) is an American actor and opera singer. The native New Yorker was enthusiastic about as a child for music and singing. As winners of a US-wide opera competition he went to Italy to study in Florence at Tito Gobbi. At the age of 19 he made his debut with the Lyric Opera Long Iceland. His acting career began Davi on the side of Frank Sinatra in the TV movie The Cherry Street fiasco. After a series of guest appearances in series Davi became known in 1985 through the Goonies a larger audience. A year later he starred opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in Raw Deal. 1988 was followed by the action films Die Hard and Jackson. In License to Kill Davi starred as James Bond opponent Franz Sanchez in 1989 in the cinema. Other well-known films with Robert Davi are The Son of the Pink Panther, The Hot Chick - Crazy Chickens and showgirls. For the latter he was nominated in 1996 Razzie as Worst Supporting Actor for the anti- price. On television, Robert Davi is best known through the series Profiler. He had guest appearances from 2005 to 2007 in the science fiction series Stargate Atlantis.
