Robert Dietrich

Robert Dietrich (Russian Роберт Генрихович Дитрих / Robert Genrichowitsch Ditrich; born July 25, 1986 in Ordzhonikidze, Kazakh SSR; † 7 September 2011 in Tunoschna near Yaroslavl, Russia ) was a German ice hockey player of German-Russian descent, who during his career, including for the DEG Metro Stars and Adler Mannheim played in the German Ice Hockey League, the Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League as well as Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the Kontinental Hockey League on the position of the defender.

Career

Dietrich began at the age of four years with the hockey games, after his parents, descendants had moved from 1941 deported to Kazakhstan Volga Germans, with him to Germany. After he had gone through the youth academy at his hometown club ESV Kaufbeuren, he moved to the 2002/03 season in the junior team of Adler Mannheim, the young eagles Mannheim, where he was active in the German Junior League from now on. In July 2003, Dietrich acquired the high school at the comprehensive school Mannheim- Herzogenried. He then went into the season 2003/ 04 in you first team of EC Peiting. In the season 2004/ 05 he was active for the ETC Crimmitschau, scoring three goals and 14 assists. Circumstances of death

September 7, 2011 Robert Dietrich and many other players of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl were killed in a plane crash near Yaroslavl killed. The machine type Yakovlev Yak -42 crashed shortly after takeoff on the Tunoschna airport after a collision with an antenna mast in the Tokscha, a tributary of the Volga, and crashed.
