Robert Fegg

Robert Fegg ( born October 26, 1978 in Berchtesgaden ) is a former German luger.

Robert Fegg belonged to the late 1990s and early 2000s to advanced world leader in the category of single seaters in the sport of luge, but usually stood in the shadow of Georg Hackl, Jens Müller and Karsten Albert. 1997 won the Sports soldier of the Bundeswehr from WSV Koenigssee, the rodelte since 1987, the gold medal in singles and with the German team at the Junior World Championships. The following year he again won gold with the team and individual silver. In the Luge World Cup in Koenigssee 1999, he was fourth in the individual, just 22 thousandths of a second behind the winner of the bronze medal, Norbert Huber. With the team he won the silver medal. Two years later he came to Calgary to fifth place in the individual. In the overall World Cup of the season 2000/ 01 he was twelfth. At the German Championships in 1999 he was third, 2001 runner-up. After his playing career was Fegg coach and is currently one of the national coach of Canada.
